It's a liquid world

Been on the liquid diet for four days. Gave up my dear friend Pepsi virtually cold turkey on Saturday. Had one or two sips on Sunday and then stopped completely. No caffeine, no soda. And no food: no solid food starting Saturday too.

It's really easier than I thought. I'm getting full more easily and some foods are tasting funny - like those last two sips of Pepsi didn't taste good at all. I have lost close to a pound a day. I'm very happy with this.

Most of all I've realized that any deviation from the diet would disappoint me. I don't want to hide a few M&Ms or sneak a little soda. I want to be honest with myself and do the right thing. Right now I have amazing willpower - cookies, candy have been offered and plates left in front of me. I've touched nothing. Who knew I could do this?
